Northfield Twp. Public Safety will be upgrading our community communication system. As of
January 17, 2022, we will be switching to Everbridge, a nationwide company, which will continue to be a free service, but will offer more options allowing our community to receive real-time community news, alerts, and important township information. Although free; standard text messaging rates would still apply. Residents living and working in Northfield Twp. are encouraged to register through the following Washtenaw County page https://member.everbridge.net/454514914099298/new.

The information below identifies firearm(s) confiscated by a Michigan Law Enforcement Agency pursuant to MCL 28.434a.
List of weapons to be disposed February 2023 (public notice 12/19/2022).
If you are claiming ownership of any firearm(s) listed please write or call within thirty (30) days of the date of public notice. In addition to your ownership claim, you must be authorized to possess firearms.
If no valid ownership claim is received by Northfield Township Police Department within thirty (30) days of the date of public notice, the firearm(s) listed will be disposed.
