  • 5:00 pm – Friday, April 28th:  Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed.
Deadline to spoil a returned absentee ballot with written request.
  • 4:00 pm – Monday, May 1st:  Deadline for electors who have lost or not yet received their absentee ballot in the mail to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new one in the clerk’s office.
  • 8:00 pm – Tuesday, May 2nd:  Election day registrants may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot in person in the clerk’s office or vote in person in the proper precinct.

AV Ballots must be delivered to the Clerk's office - they will not be accepted at the polling locations. We have two 24-hour drop boxes available at the Public Safety Building (8350 Main St.) for AV Ballots – one outside along the entryway sidewalk, and one inside the office vestibule (first set of doors on the left-hand wall).  Both drop boxes are under video surveillance.

Any AV ballots received after 8:00PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, are not able to be tallied.  We are not responsible for delays in mail service, and CANNOT accept post marks.
