Sewer Bills are Due

     
February Sewer Bills were mailed out during the first week of February.  To avoid late fees, payments are due by Monday, February 29th.  Failure to receive your bill does not waive the past due penalty.   Sewer bills can be paid by cash, check, credit/debit card*, or money order.
 
Option A: You can pay your bills at the Township Office:
  • in person during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • by using the drop box in the office vestibule during non-office hours
  • by mail - payments by mail must be received in our office by Monday, February 29 to avoid late fees.  We are not responsible for delays in mail delivery.
Option B: You can pay your bill on-line with a credit/debit card*
Option C: You can pay with a credit/debit card* over the phone by calling toll free (800) 272-9829, use code #3241.

*There is a service fee of $2.75 for credit/debit card payments for utility bills

2015 Taxes are due


Monday, February 29, 2016 is the last day the Township Office is able to accept 2015 tax payments.  These payments will be considered late, and penalties and interest do apply.  Any payments made March 1st or later must be paid at the Washtenaw County Treasurer’s office,

Friday, March 4
ROAD CLOSURE:  M-14 in Ann Arbor
 
Starting at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, March 4, M-14 will be closed between US-23 Business Route (Main Street) and the Miller Road/Maple Road interchange, with a detour posted. Through-access will not be available along this section of M-14 during the closure, which is expected to last through August. The posted detour will include US-23, I-94 and M-14.  

During construction, one lane of M-14 will be open between the US-23/M-14 interchange and Main Street. Access to Main Street and the Miller Road/Maple Road interchange will be maintained at all times.

 
Project information is available on the M-14 project website at  www.michigan.gov/m14close.   In addition, there is a toll-free number, 1-855-325-4856, established for the project that residents and motorists can call any time. Tuesday, March 8 is the Presidential Primary.  Polling locations are as follows:
    Precincts 1 & 3:

     Precinct 2:
          Fire Station 2
          2727 N. Territorial Rd.
          Whitmore Lake, MI 48189



Absentee Voters:
The deadline for those who wish to receive an Absent Voter ballot by mail must submit applications to the Clerk's office no later than 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016.  Our office will be open from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on this day to accept applications.  

Electors qualified to obtain an absent voter ballot for the election may vote in person at the Clerk's Office no later than 4:00PM on Monday, March 7, 2016.

Ballots are currently available for viewing.  Please visitwww.Michigan.gov/vote or come into the Township office during normal business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday) if you would like to view the ballot prior to the election.
