Whitmore Lake Health Equity Leadership Team Survey
Earlier this year, you received an update from the Health Equity Leadership Team of Whitmore Lake/Northfield Township following our community conversation last November. Since that time, the Team has been hard at work implementing new projects and identifying opportunities to improve health in the community.
Many of you know that improving access to health care in Whitmore Lake is a top priority and one of the most frequently mentioned issues at previous community conversations. The Team has developed a short survey to better understand the specific types of services and scheduling that would work best for residents. This information will help us have more informed conversations with organizations and providers who may be interested in bringing services to Whitmore Lake.
If you live in Whitmore Lake/Northfield Township or know community members who do, we ask that you please share your input or share the survey with those you know.
No personally identifiable information is being collected and the Health Equity Leadership Team will only share the survey results in summary form.

2018-19 Fiscal Year Public Hearing
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NORTHFIELD, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Northfield Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budgets for the fiscal year July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 at the Northfield Township Hall, 8350 Main St., Whitmore Lake, MI on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed budgets are available for public inspection at the Northfield Township Hall. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
The Northfield Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting provided that notice is given 7 days in advance. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Northfield Township Board by writing or calling the following: Northfield Township, 8350 Main St., Whitmore Lake, MI (734)449-2880.

Upcoming Election: August 7 - Primary Election
The next election will be the Primary Election held on Tuesday, August 7th. In order to vote in the August election, you must be registered to vote by Monday, July 9, 2018 by 4:30pm. When voting in a Primary Election, please remember you may vote in one party section ONLY; you cannot "split your ticket". If you vote in more than one party section, your ballot will be rejected.
Absentee Voter Applications and ballots will be available Monday, June 25, 2018. To preview the August 7th Ballot, please visit the Michigan Voter Information Center website.
